Application of institutional and departmental routines **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed Nursing Technician course; * Active COREN registration; * Completed or ongoing qualification in surgical instrumentation. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** * Perform the process of cleaning, preparation, sterilization, storage, and distribution of items processed in the specific department; * Correctly operate equipment used in item processing within the department; * Procure and expedite materials requested for procedures according to the pre\-established routine, aiming for safety and quality in the process; * Prepare surgical instrument trays; * Carry out activities in accordance with pre\-established institutional and departmental routines outlined in SOPs.
