Job Summary: A professional responsible for transporting patients while ensuring equipment maintenance and workplace organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Transporting patients between hospital departments 2. Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of stretchers and wheelchairs 3. Organizing and cleaning the workplace * Assume shift duties and become aware of any incidents. * Transport patients on stretchers or wheelchairs between hospital departments according to the institutional transport protocol POP. * Complete assignments without leaving patients unattended. * Return stretchers or wheelchairs to the requesting unit after patients return from their originating department. * Ensure proper use, maintenance, and hygiene of stretchers and wheelchairs, as well as organization and cleanliness of the workplace. * Perform disinfection of stretchers and wheelchairs on weekends, considering surgical activity. * Record incidents in the logbook of orders and incidents. Minimum Education: High School (Secondary Education)
