Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. **Job Opening:** Industrial Electrician **Position Summary:** *A professional responsible for performing and overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective electromechanical maintenance routines on UTM equipment, ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the waste sorting process. Will also provide support for welding, electrical repairs, and technical inventory control—including spare parts and maintenance tools—serving as a key figure in reducing unplanned downtime and increasing machine operational availability.* **Responsibilities:** · Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor belts, motors, gearboxes, fans, vibrating screens, ballistic separators, mills, and other systems within the sorting line. · Diagnose electromechanical failures and propose quick and effective solutions, especially during machine stoppages. · Monitor and carry out predictive maintenance checklists and plans, based on equipment performance indicators and wear levels. · Perform welding and structural repair of metallic components whenever necessary. · Assist in adapting and fabricating replacement parts, contributing to technical solutions focused on operational availability. · Support technical inventory control—including spare parts and tools—assisting with periodic inventories and restocking requests, with emphasis on accuracy and response agility. · Collaborate with Production and Logistics departments to identify systemic failures and improvement opportunities in processes and equipment. · Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and workplace organization standards, promoting methodologies such as 5S, TPM, and Kaizen. **Requirements:** · Practical knowledge of industrial electricity, electrical control systems, motors, and panels. · Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals. · Familiarity with occupational safety routines, operational standards, and safe maintenance practices. · Experience with maintenance management tools and systems (ERP/WMS – e.g., SAP, TOTVS, etc.) is desirable. · Failure analysis capability, logical reasoning, and problem-solving orientation. **Desirable Qualifications:** · Behavioral: \> Proactivity and sense of urgency \> Organization and discipline \> Clear and objective communication \> Focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement \> Teamwork ability and technical leadership · Technical education in Maintenance or Industrial Electricity · Desirable knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) such as NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, and NR-33, plus complementary training in Lean Management, 5S, or similar. **Education:** · Completed Technical Education in Electromechanics, Industrial Electricity, Mechatronics, or related fields. · Advantage: Higher Education (Technology or Engineering degree in related areas). · Desired certifications and trainings: o NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, and NR-33 o Training in TPM, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or similar CONDITIONS: Junior Industrial Electrician R$ 1\.900,00 Hazard Pay: R$ 620,00 On-site meal Food Basket Allowance: R$ 152,17 Schedule: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM / Monday to Saturday Employment Type: Permanent CLT Compensation: R$1\.900,00 per month Benefits: * Food basket * Transportation allowance
