Job Summary: The professional will develop, review, and approve engineering documents and technical studies within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety, as well as provide technical support across various stages of projects and processes. Technical Support to Various Departments and Sectors **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, review, and approve engineering technical documents related to the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Develop, review, and approve engineering technical studies related to the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Develop, review, and approve planning, listing, and quantification of documents produced by the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Develop and revise procedures and standardizations for 3D and 2D project documents within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Provide technical support to other departments/sectors regarding the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Analyze the impact/need for full or specific system shutdowns during the implementation of engineering projects into the operational routines of petroleum production plants, with respect to the discipline of Petroleum Processing; * Participate in all phases of engineering projects—from conceptual solution development, basic design, detailed design, implementation, and AS\-BUILT—within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Provide technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in developing project schedules and fulfilling other PMO responsibilities, including those related to unidisciplinary or multidisciplinary project coordination and the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Issue opinions defining project priorities, deadlines, planning, and resource allocation within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Conduct and issue technical visit reports to suppliers, contractors, partners, and petroleum production units, concerning activities within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Participate in Working Groups, Committees, Audits, Inspections, Hearings, and Meetings; * Issue, approve, and review engineering technical documents applicable to the commissioning phase of projects, within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Monitor and provide technical support at the office, supplier sites, and operational areas during project implementation and commissioning phases, within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Provide technical support to procurement departments and their contractors in prospecting suppliers, selecting and specifying materials/equipment, and issuing technical opinions, within the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety; * Engage in prospecting new suppliers, equipment, and technologies applicable to the discipline of Petroleum Processing Safety. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Engineering degree (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), with a duly registered diploma issued by a higher education institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), as well as valid registration with the respective professional regulatory body. Other engineering degrees may be considered if the candidate possesses the required experience. * **Experience:** Experience in petroleum processing engineering projects for the oil industry and offshore production units. Must have experience leading offshore industrial process risk analysis and safety studies. * **Technical Knowledge:** Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, SAP, software for tracking safety studies and risk analysis, CAD tools.
