An engineering professional to work on oil processing, preparing, reviewing, and approving technical documents and studies, and participating in all phases of offshore projects.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* All activities described must be performed in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects;
* Prepare, review, and approve petroleum processing engineering technical documents;
* Prepare, review, and approve petroleum processing engineering technical studies;
* Prepare, review, and approve planning, listing, and quantification of documents produced by the petroleum processing discipline;
* Prepare and review procedures and standardizations for 2D and 3D project documents within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Provide technical support to other departments/sectors within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Analyze the impact/need for full or specific system shutdowns during implementation of engineering projects into operational routines of oil production plants, with respect to the petroleum processing discipline;
* Participate in all phases of engineering projects—from conceptual solution design through basic design, detailed design, implementation, and AS-BUILT—within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Provide technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in developing project schedules and fulfilling other PMO responsibilities related to unidisciplinary or multidisciplinary project coordination, as well as activities within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Issue opinions defining project priorities, deadlines, planning, and resource allocation within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Conduct and issue technical visit reports to suppliers, contractors, partners, and oil production units upon request, regarding activities of the petroleum processing discipline;
* Participate in Working Groups, Committees, Audits, Inspections, Hearings, and Meetings upon request;
* Issue, approve, and verify engineering technical documents applicable to the commissioning phase of projects, within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Monitor and provide technical support at the office, supplier sites, and operational areas during project implementation and commissioning phases, within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Provide technical support to procurement departments and their contractors in supplier prospecting, selection, material/equipment specification, and technical evaluations, within the petroleum processing discipline;
* Engage in prospecting new suppliers, equipment, and technologies applicable to the petroleum processing discipline;
* Plan both commissioning management and execution, involving all departments interfacing with the activity (Operations, Contractors, Maintenance, SMS, and others), requiring definition and detailing of key technical elements, baseline schedule, organizational structure, and resources needed for commissioning execution;
* Provide all documentation related to receipt, assembly, and conditioning of physical assets required for execution of the subsequent commissioning phase (Pre-operation and Start-up);
* Identify equipment subject to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), their monitoring conditions, and responsible personnel for overseeing respective tests;
* Monitor equipment, piping, and instrumentation assembly, cleaning, inspection, and installation;
* Verification of compliance with regulatory standards;
* Identification and recording of non-critical pending items;
* Application of Checklists (CLs) or Item Verification Sheets (IVSs);
* Continuously promote project analysis to ensure constructability.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* **Education:** Engineering degree (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), with officially registered diploma issued by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and valid registration with the respective professional regulatory body. Other engineering degrees may be considered provided the candidate possesses the required experience.
* **Experience:** Engineering projects for oil processing in the offshore oil industry and offshore production units. Must have experience leading industrial offshore process safety and risk analysis studies.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, SAP, safety study tracking software, risk analysis software, CAD tools. English proficiency sufficient for reading, comprehension, and speaking to perform the following tasks: interaction with suppliers, contractors, and partners; training/courses; interpretation and application of standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures.
