We must all work together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. * Manage multidisciplinary subsea engineering teams to safely and efficiently deliver agreed deliverables, schedule, and budget. * Ensure all project team activities are completed using approved Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures, promoting technical excellence across projects. * Support and supervise high-quality execution of tasks assigned to the team. * Manage engineering scope, identifying deviations and participating in the Management of Change (MOC) process. * Manage key stakeholders during project execution and delivery. * Efficiently and effectively manage and direct engineering resources. * Coordinate technical delivery and quality assurance of the project. * Coordinate interface between the project team and functional managers of engineering disciplines. * Regularly and accurately report engineering team progress via established protocols. * Address underperformance and identify improvement opportunities. * Assist in identifying and requesting functional support for the project, as required. * Promote HSSEA (Health, Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility) culture and performance within the project team. * Support business development by understanding client needs, drivers, challenges, and business objectives to market and secure new scopes of work or contract extensions. * Develop technical proposals for subsea projects, estimate required resources and man-hours to deliver a given scope, and support the local Growth & Development team in prospecting new clients and projects. * Lead the development of competitive proposals as needed, supporting clarifications and follow-up interfaces with clients to maximize Wood’s probability of securing contracts/projects. * Support the development of operational procedures across all work stages. * Project management and administration. * Facilitate communication between Consulting teams in Houston and Rio de Janeiro. * Functional reporting to the Project Management Team Manager (Houston, TX) and local reporting to the Consulting Manager (Brazil). **Required:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Subsea, or related field), with active professional registration (CREA). * Fluent English. * Solid experience working for an engineering services company, involved in pre\-FEED, FEED, and execution phases of O\&G subsea projects. * Strong technical experience. * Experience as an engineering manager or overall engineering leader on projects. * Strong relationship-building, trust, and partnership skills with clients. * Team-oriented, with excellent team integration. * Excellence in customer service. * Strong team development and influence skills across all organizational levels. * Solid conflict resolution skills. * Ability and experience operating in dynamic project environments with accelerated schedules and greater decision-making responsibilities. * Demonstrated understanding of business, industry, and client drivers. * Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. * Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and lead teams. * Excellent time management and prioritization skills, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. **Preferred:** * Master’s degree in Engineering. * Established relationships within Wood, with clients, and across the industry will be considered a strong advantage.
