We continuously apply our team’s expertise to maximize production, transforming O\&G into value for Brazil. **Job Mission:** Provide specialized technical support to automation, control, and electrical systems of offshore oil and gas production facilities, contributing to operational reliability, safety, asset availability, and efficiency. The professional must support the introduction, tracking, and monitoring of performance indicators (KPIs), collaborate on continuous improvement of automation and electrical systems, ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards — particularly NR\-10 — and support data-driven technical decision-making. **Responsibilities and Duties*** Provide technical support to automation and process control systems used in offshore oil and gas production, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, safety systems (ESD/PSD), instrumentation, and supervisory systems. * Monitor and analyze automation system performance, identifying operational deviations, recurring failures, and opportunities to improve system reliability and production asset availability. * Introduce, track, and monitor technical KPIs related to automation and electrical systems, such as critical system availability, control failures, response time, and adherence to maintenance plans. Critical automation control system availability, number of automation and instrumentation failures, response time (MTTR — where applicable), recurrence rate of control system failures. * Support failure and operational event analyses for automation and electrical systems, participating in structured technical analyses and proposing corrective and preventive actions under guidance from more experienced engineers. * Support critical electrical systems, including power generation, electrical distribution, switchboards, motors, inverters, UPS, grounding, and protection systems, ensuring reliability and operational continuity. * Ensure technical and regulatory compliance by supporting adherence to applicable standards, with emphasis on NR\-10, NR\-12, and other relevant electrical and automation standards for the offshore environment. * Assist in managing and improving the quality of technical and maintenance data for automation and electrical systems in the CMMS (IBM Maximo), ensuring complete, standardized, and reliable records. * Participate in developing, reviewing, and applying technical procedures, work instructions, and corporate standards related to automation, electrical systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety. * Monitor tests, commissioning activities, interventions, and technical improvements to automation and electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, technical standards, and safety requirements. * Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and the team’s technical knowledge, adopting and disseminating best practices in automation, electrical engineering, functional safety, and technical data quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields. **Knowledge \| Skills \| Experience:** * Practical experience in industrial automation, industrial electrical systems, maintenance, or operation of industrial systems, with proven track record. * Fundamental knowledge of industrial automation, process control systems, instrumentation, and industrial electrical systems. * Knowledge of applicable technical and safety standards, with emphasis on NR\-10, NR\-12, IEC, IEEE, and relevant Brazilian standards. * Familiarity with control systems (DCS, PLC), supervisory systems, and process instrumentation. **Additional Information** **Check out some of our benefits:** Meal and Food Allowance: R$2\.315,50 Flexible Card: R$570,00 Christmas Basket: R$ 1\.048,00 (once per year) Private Pension Plan Health and Dental Plans Wellhub or Totalpass: whichever suits you best!
