**Description:**
The Occupational Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring the implementation of safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures within the company, aiming to prevent accidents, minimize risks, and promote appropriate working conditions. This role is preventive and educational, guiding employees and managers on best safety practices.
**Main responsibilities:**
* Develop, implement, and monitor occupational safety programs (PPRA, LTCAT, among others).
* Conduct periodic inspections of work environments, machinery, and equipment to identify hazards and propose corrective measures.
* Promote safety training sessions and awareness campaigns on occupational health and accident prevention.
* Investigate and document accidents or incidents, proposing actions to prevent recurrence.
* Monitor and control the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE).
* Support the preparation of technical reports and safety documentation.
* Comply with and enforce labor legislation and regulatory standards (NRs).
* Provide support during internal and external audits related to occupational safety.
**Desired qualifications:**
* Completed technical education in Occupational Safety.
* Professional registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE).
* Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs).
* Strong communication skills and ability to guide teams.
* Preventive mindset, organized, and detail-oriented.
