This professional will be responsible for coordinating the logistics department’s activities, with emphasis on team management, transportation process optimization, and ensuring delivery efficiency—guaranteeing compliance with regulations, internal procedures, and the company’s quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate logistics department activities, ensuring alignment with internal policies and procedures. * Manage the logistics team (drivers, assistants, and/or operational staff), ensuring performance, productivity, and engagement. * Plan, monitor, and optimize transportation, pickup, and distribution processes. * Control logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. * Ensure adherence to pickup and delivery deadlines, maintaining the service level agreed upon with customers. * Monitor and analyze area performance indicators (KPIs). * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and applicable legislation. * Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support operations and implementation of new customers. * Monitor fleet condition and availability, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance. * Prepare managerial reports and present department results. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. * Prior experience in coordination or supervision of logistics operations. * Experience managing operational teams and controlling costs. * Knowledge of transportation, distribution, and logistics process optimization.
