Construction Inspector

Description

Conduct on-site technical inspections to monitor the progress and quality of Public Lighting construction projects, ensuring compliance with execution plans. Identify and document discrepancies between the approved project and on-site implementation, reporting them to the Projects Department for adjustments or preparation of As-Built documentation. Carry out acceptance and completion inspections of construction works, assessing service execution, proper use of materials, and compliance with standards established by BHIP. Prepare technical inspection reports, including sketches, photographs, and detailed descriptions of observed conditions. Evaluate the installation of IP assets (poles, luminaires, cables, etc.), verifying their quality, functionality, and potential interferences. Prepare technical documentation for project handover, in accordance with the Construction Department’s requirements. Coordinate with execution teams, suppliers, PBH inspectors, and other company departments to clarify technical questions and resolve non-conformities. Contribute to continuous process improvement by proposing adjustments based on field experience. Use communication and recording tools (Microsoft) to share information in real time with the Construction Department and other involved areas. Be familiar with the Information Security Policy adopted and apply its requirements according to the criticality of the performed service.
