Job Summary: The professional will assist patients, administer medications, perform preparatory procedures for examinations, and maintain the hygiene of facilities and materials, providing vital support. Assist patients from the CDT, accommodate them, administer prescribed medications, perform preparatory procedures for examinations, and maintain hygienized facilities, materials, and instruments. **Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 19:00; Friday, 10:00 to 19:00** **Salary:** R$2.201,64 \+ Hazard Pay (20%): R$ 324,20 **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * Meal voucher or food allowance * Medical assistance (UNIMED) * Dental assistance (METLIFE) * Educational assistance (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) * Daycare allowance (childcare assistance) of R$ 200.00 (per child) for mothers with children meeting eligibility criteria and aged up to 04 years; * Quality-of-life program * Funeral plan * Partnerships with restaurants, Pacheco, psychologists, pharmacies, workshops, and gyms. * Christmas gift card **Responsibilities and Duties*** Verify and maintain equipment usability conditions; * Check availability of resources required to carry out activities and provide assistance; * Perform sector-specific cleaning routines and replenishment of shared-use materials; * Test crash carts and immediately report non-conformities to the supervisor; * Review examination schedules, paying attention to procedures requiring special attention; * Receive and verify patient identification according to schedule and examination requests, including SUS patients internally referred from Santa Casa and São Lucas Hospital who will undergo examinations or minor surgeries; record in the patient registry book details such as: patient name, arrival date and time, origin, and procedure to be performed; * Assess the patient’s general condition, conduct anamnesis, and follow admission and discharge protocols, including NEWS and Aldrete scales; * Accommodate the patient according to their needs and explain the procedure they will undergo, verifying whether preparation is adequate; * Retrieve and store medications and materials from the pharmacy according to requirements, maintain supply in the observation room, and monitor expiration dates; * Control, handle, and store materials related to the Central Material Supply Department (CME), affix labels, check expiration dates, and verify conformity to ensure process compliance; \- Prepare and assist patients for examinations, observing protocols and identification, supporting the responsible physician, administering medications per prescriptions, monitoring vital signs, maintaining intravenous therapy (venous access) or withdrawing it if necessary, maintaining oxygen therapy, performing nebulization, securing gastro-endoscopy tubes for patients, among others; * Record examinations performed by completing the existing control logbook, as well as filling out the room/expenses billing sheet and orthosis/prosthesis sheet with materials used during the examination; * Assist the physician in collecting biological specimens, observing specific procedures and techniques. * Retrieve, receive, and escort patients before and after examinations, awaiting release of their medical records by the responsible physician, and call for appropriate patient transfer; * Perform patient progress notes and admissions via the MV system; * Provide urgent and emergency care when required; * Refer patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in case of complications; * Refer deceased patients to the morgue. * Perform disinfection of materials and equipment in designated areas (decontamination zone), adhering to standardization techniques outlined in RDC 36; * Ensure continuity between shifts and document shift handover on printed forms; * Perform other related tasks of equivalent difficulty level upon request from the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed Technical Nursing Course Active COREN registration **Additional Information** We are Santa Casa BH, and we work for a cause: delivering top-tier healthcare to everyone.
