Job Summary: Operate overhead crane for handling and loading steel coils, following the checker's guidelines and safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Overhead crane operation for handling steel coils 2. Constant communication with the checker via radio and visual contact 3. Following instructions for product storage and handling **Responsibilities:** * Operate overhead crane to unload, move, and load horizontally positioned (lying down) steel coils between storage and truck/trailer or railcar beds; use clamp accessory to unload, move, and load vertically positioned (standing upright) steel coils between storage and truck/trailer or railcar beds; * Change accessories (tongs, clamps, electromagnets, coil cradles, and chains) with assistance from another floor colleague; * Maintain continuous communication with the checker via radio and visual contact throughout all loading and unloading operations; * Follow the checker's instructions regarding product storage / loading process / moving products between storage and truck/trailer or railcar beds / immediately halt operations upon observing any anomaly during task execution or upon instruction from the checker. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * High school diploma; * NR35\-Work at Heights, NR11\-Overhead Crane Operator. **Benefits:** We offer an attractive benefits package, including various advantages that promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
