* Verify and maintain equipment usability conditions;
* Check availability of resources required for activity execution and patient care;
* Perform sector-specific cleaning routines and replenishment of shared-use materials;
* Conduct crash cart checks and immediately report non-conformities to the supervisor;
* Review the examination schedule, paying attention to procedures requiring special attention;
* Receive and verify patient identification according to the schedule and examination requests, including SUS inpatients from Santa Casa and Hospital São Lucas scheduled for examinations or minor surgeries; record patient information in the patient registry logbook, including: patient name, date and time of arrival, origin, and procedure to be performed;
* Assess the patient’s general condition, conduct anamnesis, and implement admission and discharge protocols, including NEWS and Aldrete scales;
* Accommodate the patient according to their needs and explain the procedure they will undergo, verifying whether preparation is adequate;
* Retrieve and store medications and supplies from the pharmacy as needed; maintain observation room stock levels and monitor expiration dates;
* Manage, handle, and store materials related to the Central Material Supply Department (CME), including labeling, verifying expiration dates, and checking conformity, to ensure process compliance;
\- Prepare and assist patients for examinations, observing protocols and identification requirements; support the responsible physician; administer medications per prescriptions; monitor vital signs; manage intravenous therapy — initiate or discontinue IV access as required; maintain oxygen therapy; perform macronebulization; secure gastric-endoscopic tubes, among other duties;
* Record examinations performed by completing the existing control logbook, and fill out the room/expense billing sheet and orthosis/prosthesis sheet with materials used during the examination;
* Assist the physician in collecting biological specimens, adhering to specific procedures and techniques.
* Transport and receive patients undergoing pre- and post-examination processes, awaiting release of their medical records by the responsible physician, and coordinate patient movement for appropriate referral;
* Document patient progress and admissions using the MV system;
* Provide emergency and urgent care when necessary;
* Refer patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in case of complications;
* Refer deceased patients to the morgue;
* Perform disinfection of materials and equipment in the designated area (decontamination zone), following RDC 36 standardization guidelines;
* Ensure shift continuity and document handover details on the shift change form;
* Perform other related tasks of equivalent complexity upon request by the immediate supervisor.
