Job Summary: The professional will perform and monitor mechanical, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks, supporting improvements and the interpretation of technical drawings. We invested in a process to filter 100% of generated tailings, followed by dry stacking. Furthermore, we promote the reuse of approximately 85% of water used in production, intensify environmental management, health and safety in operations, and invest in multiple social initiatives. Subsequently, in 2022, we launched a new operation in the city of Mariana.* *To date, our operations have generated over 1\.000 direct jobs, plus another 1\.500 indirect jobs—including transporters of our products and service providers focused on personal and professional development, health, and safety. Learn about our mission, vision, and values!* *We seek individuals who believe in the future of mining and are ready to make a difference within Cedro.* *Our goal is to conduct a streamlined selection process and choose the right people—those who truly embrace the Cedro culture—and encourage residents of the municipalities where we operate to join us.* **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform and monitor tasks related to corrective, preventive, and improvement maintenance. * Monitor third-party services contracted for specific maintenance or facility-related activities, providing necessary support and instructions. * Provide technical assistance during the receipt of mechanical equipment, verifying specifications, warranties, and related documentation. * Monitor equipment during the warranty period. * Perform mechanical maintenance services on machines, equipment, and facilities—including hydraulic components, vulcanization, welding, and pneumatic systems—through repairs or part replacement, and carry out adjustments, calibration, and lubrication as required. * Interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications, guiding their implementation. * Support the preparation of the weekly maintenance schedule by identifying required activities and procuring parts accordingly. * Use tools, welding equipment, measuring instruments, and mechanical devices to perform assigned tasks; perform duties relevant to the area of expertise using computers and software. * Plan maintenance, inspect equipment to determine maintenance type, and collect maintenance control data. * Perform maintenance, detect failures in machines and systems, identify failure causes, replace parts and components, make emergency adjustments, propose studies to eliminate recurring failures, and return machines and equipment to productive operating condition. * Develop manufacturing and assembly processes, establish fabrication methods and times, perform final adjustment testing, use tools to ensure process quality, analyze processes for improvement and failure elimination, control process productivity, and balance production lines to optimize processes. * Prepare technical documentation, draft technical reports, use computer resources, and create checklists. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Mechanical or Electromechanical Technician certification. * Experience in the field. * Specific Knowledge: Mechanical Maintenance; Equipment Mechanics; Computerized Control Systems; Electric Hoist Operation; Conveyor Belts; Metrology; Welding; Basic Knowledge of Oil Sampling and Analysis; Hydraulic Systems. * Experience in tailings filtration plants. * Ability to guide teams during daily routines and major shutdowns. *Cedro Mineração is a company specialized in the extraction, processing, and commercialization of iron ore—the raw material that supports production across numerous sectors of the national and global economy.
