




Job Summary: The Fleet and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the company's vehicles, managing maintenance activities and suppliers to optimize fleet performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure efficient and safe fleet operation. 2. Manage mechanical, electrical, and tire maintenance. 3. Accredit, evaluate, and manage suppliers and partner workshops. The Fleet and Maintenance Supervisor for heavy-duty vehicles, light vehicles, and trailers (chassis/running gear) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the company's vehicles, guaranteeing that all maintenance activities are performed appropriately and on schedule. This role oversees and executes mechanical, electrical, and tire maintenance activities both in-house and at third-party suppliers. · Ensure issuance of Service Orders (SO) for any preventive or corrective maintenance requirement. · Perform and supervise in-house mechanical, electrical, and tire maintenance, ensuring service quality. · Accredit, evaluate, and manage partner workshops and parts suppliers, ensuring high-quality operational support across the company's operating regions. · Negotiate with service and parts suppliers to secure optimal commercial and technical terms, and monitor contract execution. · Monitor and analyze fleet performance and cost indicators, such as Cost Per Kilometer (CPK), to identify optimization opportunities and expense reduction. · Monitor and inspect maintenance activities conducted by third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance with the company's quality and safety standards. · Maintain up-to-date records of all vehicle interventions, including maintenance history, replaced parts, and downtime duration. · Control inventory of parts and consumables required for maintenance, ordering replenishments as needed. · Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety regulations and current legislation. · Collaborate with drivers and operational teams to ensure truck availability for daily operations. · Identify recurring failures and propose improvements to enhance fleet reliability and availability. · Lead and develop the maintenance team, fostering a safe, productive, and continuously learning work environment. · Ensure the team stays updated on new technologies and best practices in fleet maintenance.
