Spanish is desirable but not mandatory * Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. * Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects. * Ability to document, plan, communicate, and execute programs. * Established project management skills. **What will your typical day look like?** * Mapping actual spend, including supplier mapping, supply flows, technology mapping, competition risks, technology shifts, purchase amount trends, shortage impacts, risk mitigation, dual sourcing, contracting, terms and conditions, and obsolescence management. * Driving and monitoring the selection process of new suppliers. * Defining the sourcing plan, including supplier reduction and verification of competencies and capabilities. * Negotiating supplier frame agreements and supply contracts, including VMI, YoY productivity, safety stock, and sustainability. * Ensuring continuous technical and market intelligence for the respective commodities. * Managing customer expectations and contractual obligations for installed base uptime. * Monitoring cost and revenue performance in the region. * Developing strategies to improve service efficiency and proposing solutions to enhance customer experience. * Supporting field teams when needed. * Meeting with customers to understand challenges and propose solutions. **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
