You will collaborate with and learn from a highly qualified technical team within the Toolmaking Department and on joint engineering projects, putting academic knowledge into practice and maximizing its potential. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in Tooling Planning and Control, assisting in evaluating the manufacturing of turnover tools and new projects. * Define and learn tool manufacturing processes including cutting, turning, milling (conventional and CNC), grinding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and polishing. Learn tool registration processes and definition of manufacturing routings in the system, interfacing with suppliers of heat treatment for tool steels and PVD hard metal coatings. * Participate in manufacturing process improvements through microstructure analysis of materials and surface finish analysis of machining and EDM processes. * Conduct tool inventory counts and related activities to ensure inventory accuracy. * Interact with and visit suppliers of heat treatment and hard metal coatings (PVD) for tools. * Assist in routine activities of Tooling Planning and Control. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields; * Availability for a minimum of 6 hours per day of in-person internship in Brusque \- SC; * Minimum availability for a 1-year internship; **Additional Information** Internship stipend of R$1\.800,00 per month for 30 hours; Meals provided at the company; Transportation allowance; Outpatient medical care and reimbursement for medication costs; Dental plan; Housing assistance for candidates from other cities; Participation in training and development programs; Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
