The position of **Calibration Laboratory Technician** involves responsibilities related to calibrating and testing machines and equipment to ensure their proper operation. The role includes maintenance, adjustments, and quality control of instruments used by the company. Key activities include:
* Supporting the development and review of technical calibration procedures;
* Properly handling, preserving, and storing reference standards and instruments;
* Complying with internal procedures and requirements of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025;
* Issuing certificates and reports containing results, uncertainties, and technical observations;
* Ensuring metrological traceability to national and international standards;
* Adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards;
* Identifying and reporting non-conformities and improvement opportunities;
* Participating in internal and external audits;
* Conducting calibrations on instruments both at company facilities and at client sites (external environment);
* Maintaining up-to-date calibration histories and equipment control records;
* Workplace organization: Keeping the workplace organized and within controlled environmental conditions;
* Incident handling: Efficiently managing incidents to ensure rapid and effective resolution;
* Continuously suggesting improvements for greater laboratory efficiency;
* Collaborating on the organization and standardization of departmental administrative activities;
* Providing support for other departmental tasks as required;
* Complying with the company's institutional guidelines.
