Job Summary: A Junior Environmental Projects Analyst develops, implements, and documents environmental licensing activities, contributing to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Use of Mata Nativa software and statistical tools for data analysis The Junior Environmental Projects Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting environmental licensing-related activities—including forest and floristic inventories, phytosociological surveys, preparation and implementation of PRADs (Environmental Recovery Plans), and environmental compensation and forest replacement processes—under the supervision of the Coordinator. This professional operates in compliance with current environmental regulations, contributing to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Develop work plans for conducting floristic inventories, forest censuses, and phytosociological studies; Conduct field collections, identifying and cataloging plant species; Prepare environmental studies required for environmental licensing; Propose mitigation and recovery measures for degraded areas based on study results; Plan environmental compensation and forest replacement projects; Use Mata Nativa software for data collection and analysis; Analyze field-collected data using statistical tools; Prepare detailed technical reports presenting results of inventories, censuses, and phytosociological studies; Ensure all field activities and reports comply with current environmental legislation; Stay updated on changes in environmental regulations and their implications for projects. Be responsible for cleaning and organizing their workspace. Maintain and request maintenance for equipment under their responsibility. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors, consistent with their role.
