Preparation of detailed environmental studies and reports The Biologist I is responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting environmental licensing-related activities, such as wildlife surveys, wildlife monitoring, and preparation of environmental projects and reports under the supervision of the Coordinator and Sector Leader. This professional operates in compliance with current environmental regulations, contributing to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Develop work plans for wildlife surveys and monitoring. Conduct field collections, identifying and cataloging wildlife species. Prepare necessary environmental studies for environmental licensing. Propose wildlife mitigation measures based on study results. Analyze field-collected data using statistical tools. Prepare detailed technical reports presenting wildlife study results. Ensure all field activities and reports comply with current environmental legislation. Stay updated on changes in environmental regulations and their implications for projects. Be responsible for cleaning and organizing their workspace. Maintain and request maintenance for equipment under their responsibility.
