This professional will work both on modernizing services, adopting modern integration standards, and ensuring solution quality, scalability, reliability, and financial consistency. If you are passionate about technology, seek challenges, and want to make a difference, come build the future with us at NIO. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Hands-on development and evolution of Java backend services for billing, payment, and collections systems. * Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations exposed via API Gateway (e.g., Sensedia). * Modernize and evolve legacy architectures (SOA) by participating in migration, refactoring, and service decomposition. * Build new services using Spring Boot, applying event-driven architecture, messaging, and asynchronous integrations. * Implement performance and resilience mechanisms, such as caching, idempotency, and fault-tolerance strategies. * Ensure solution quality, reliability, and stability through testing, engineering best practices, CI/CD, and incident support. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid experience in Java development with Spring Boot. * Experience with REST APIs, API Gateway/API Management (e.g., Sensedia, Apigee), and synchronous/asynchronous integrations. * Experience with legacy architectures (SOA) and their evolution toward modern event-driven architectures. * Knowledge of messaging systems, asynchronous processing, relational and NoSQL databases. * Experience with automated testing, DevOps practices, observability, and reliability. * Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift). * Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Experience in financial systems (billing, invoicing, payment, collections) is a plus. * Java certifications (Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus. **Additional Information** Benefits: * Meal Allowance and/or Food Voucher * Transportation Voucher * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Private Pension Plan * Profit-Sharing Program (PPR) * Pharmacy Allowance * Daycare Allowance * Flexible Working Hours * V.tal Benefits Club * Extended Maternity Leave (6 months) * Extended Paternity Leave (20 days) **THE FUTURE STARTS HERE — AND WE’LL BUILD IT WITH YOU** ---------------------------------------------------------------- **We are V.tal, a company born with the purpose of enabling digital connection and transforming people’s lives.** We work to help position Brazil among the world’s most digitally advanced nations—promoting digital inclusion, accelerating new businesses, and stimulating regional development.
