Mechanical Maintenance Assistant Job Description: Assist in the verification, preparation, and control of electrical and mechanical maintenance (corrective, preventive, and predictive) demands generated by the industrial facility—including related documentation—ensuring timely service delivery to the facility and proper allocation of incurred costs to respective cost centers and equipment. Responsibilities: * Assist in receiving corrective maintenance demands generated by the industrial facility, creating maintenance work orders and assigning them to mechanics and electricians for daily resolution of facility incidents. * Assist in monitoring preventive and predictive maintenance plans per equipment manufacturer specifications, and communicate these plans to responsible mechanics and electricians to maintain equipment availability aligned with planned productivity, on a daily basis. * Assist in processing requests for sending machinery and equipment for repair, including creation of maintenance work orders and billing documents. * Assist in generating maintenance department documentation, such as sales invoices, service invoices, repair return invoices, and others, using SAP ERP and following internal document processing workflows, to ensure daily allocation of process-related costs to respective cost centers and equipment. * Support development and creation of maintenance plans per manufacturer specifications, for preventive maintenance control, as required. * Assist in technical identification for registration of electrical and mechanical materials, aiming to feed SAP ERP data on a daily basis. * Create material reservations upon identifying material consumption needs reported by mechanics and electricians; after checking SAP inventory, material reservations are created against maintenance work orders or cost centers to allocate material costs and meet maintenance requirements, on a daily basis. * Assist in verifying materials and equipment under direct debit, based on technical identification of direct-debit materials—receiving them as requested—to meet industrial facility needs and allocate costs if necessary, as required. * Create and adjust installation locations and plant machinery records in accordance with changes in the industrial park layout; when required, update hierarchy levels and sub-levels in SAP, as well as registered equipment, to ensure accurate mapping of maintenance information, as required. Requirements: * Prior experience in this role; * Knowledge of welding, grinders, and drills is essential; * Completed or currently pursuing a technical course in Mechanical Engineering, preferably from IFES or SENAI. **Behavioral Competencies:** Proactive, communicative, committed, and punctual.
