




Job Summary: The professional will handle baggage and cargo on aircraft, ensuring the safety and efficiency of airport operations. Key Highlights: 1. Aircraft handling and equipment marshalling Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and ambulation throughout the operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, loading and unloading aircraft with luggage and cargo, signaling around the aircraft being serviced, and inspecting and scanning the floor for dropped objects; auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the ramp. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative to resolve causal situations. * Safeguard the aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and safeguard baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Perform segregation of baggage and cargo volumes in airport sorting areas by reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance), aiming to load them into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Load baggage and cargo into aircraft holds following regulations and procedures outlined in the MGO, in accordance with special situation identification guidelines (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable items); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise cargo and baggage packaging to verify proper suitability for transportation, ensuring flight safety and the safety of personnel handling them; * Correctly handle and properly allocate baggage and cargo within holds, observing internal retention and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during equipment coupling to aircraft to prevent collisions with the fuselage; * Handle aircraft within established timeframes for each type of service and airport classification where operating; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and direct equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities during operations to supervisors. 2511070202301574680
