**About the opportunity:**
An engineering and infrastructure electrical services company is hiring an Occupational Safety Technician for a power grid maintenance project, involving tree pruning and right-of-way clearing activities.
The professional will work directly in rural areas and dense forests, accompanying operational field teams.
Key responsibilities:
* Daily supervision of field teams performing pruning and right-of-way clearance;
* Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations during activities near power lines;
* Conducting DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues);
* Safety inspections of:
* Operational vehicles;
* Tools and equipment;
* Correct use of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE);
* Identification, analysis, and control of risks associated with activities in dense forests and rural areas;
* Supporting operational leadership in organizing occupational safety and health (OSH) documentation;
* Preparing reports, inspection records, and safety performance indicators;
* Participating in internal and external audits;
* Investigating and following up on incidents and near-misses;
* Providing ongoing technical guidance to teams regarding safe procedures.
Working conditions
* Predominantly field-based work;
* Work environment in dense forests and hard-to-access areas;
* Frequent travel between work sites;
* Working in proximity to electric utility operations (energy concessionaire);
* Dynamic, operational, and preventive routine.
Compensation: R$3\.003,08 per month
