Job Summary: Security guard responsible for observing and ensuring the safety of the area, monitoring the movement of people and vehicles, and acting ostensively to protect people, facilities, and materials. Responsibility for custody of materials and documentation Observe the area to ensure site security, maintaining attention on the movement of people and vehicles. Carry out preventive actions to maintain post security. Conduct inspections within the post perimeter. Maintain a firm yet courteous demeanor toward customers and their employees. Provide all types of information and assistance requested by your immediate supervisor. Act ostensively to promote the safety of people, facilities, and materials, deterring and preventing actions harmful to the client’s interests—whether criminal or not—while complying with legal requirements. Follow instructions and procedures established for your post. Prepare daily shift/post reports as stipulated by the company. Assume responsibility for custody of materials under your charge (firearms, documentation, and post materials). Complete documents required for performing your duties (e.g., security logbook and time card). In case of an incident, act proactively according to procedures, preserving your own life and the property for which you are responsible. Other duties inherent to the position. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION: Completed or ongoing high school education. Updated security guard training course. Computer literacy. Availability to work flexible hours.
