




Job Summary: D'GRANEL's Occupational Safety Technician is responsible for inspecting, preventing, and enforcing occupational safety regulations; conducting safety training; overseeing PPE usage; investigating accidents; and promoting safety awareness. Join us too! **Opportunity:** Occupational Safety Technician **Summary of Responsibilities:** Ensure D'GRANEL's facilities and equipment comply with occupational safety regulations; verify and enhance employee safety training; supervise proper use of PPE; and ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety legislation. **Responsibilities:** * Record workplace accidents in designated internal forms, specifying time, severity, and other relevant data; * Propose preventive measures against accidents to D'GRANEL management and inform them of potential risk conditions, enabling actions to eliminate/minimize accidents; * Enforce applicable legislation, especially the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PPRA) and the Occupational Health Monitoring Program (PCMSO); * Inspect company production areas to assess risk conditions and verify workers' correct use of PPE; * Periodically inspect all company fire extinguishers and request replacement or recharging from the responsible department when necessary; * Advise workers on existing risks in their work areas; * Conduct safety training sessions; * Promote the development of safety-related informational notices and forward them to the responsible department for dissemination; * Investigate workplace accidents, identify and evaluate root causes, and propose preventive measures; * Maintain ongoing communication with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), fully utilizing its observations, while supporting, training, and assisting it as stipulated in Regulatory Standard NR-5; * Manage and distribute PPE to employees; * Conduct site visits at companies served by D'GRANEL to identify hazardous situations and verify correct PPE usage.
