Promote a safety culture Your tasks We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Occupational Safety Technician to join our team in Barcarena, Brazil. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a safety culture across our entire organization. * Conduct regular safety inspections and audits in work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards * Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment by all employees * Perform risk assessments and develop preliminary risk analysis reports for various work activities * Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses, providing detailed analyses and recommendations for prevention * Develop and maintain safety documentation, including lockout procedures and authorization credentials for special activities * Conduct safety training sessions and participate in Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD) to increase employee safety awareness * Collaborate with management and safety committees to implement and improve safety policies and procedures * Stay up to date with local and international safety regulations, ensuring our practices meet or exceed required standards * Manage inventory and procurement of safety equipment and PPEs, working closely with the Procurement Department * Participate in safety meetings and committees, contributing to the continuous improvement of our safety programs Your profile * Technical qualification in Occupational Safety or a related field * Professional registration or certification in occupational safety * Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment * In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including Brazilian local safety laws * Proficiency in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights * Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, with the ability to effectively conduct training sessions * Proficiency in safety management software and the Microsoft Office suite * Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records and reports * Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels * Willingness to work in diverse environments and adapt to changing safety requirements Our offer 1 year of experience as an Occupational Safety Technician in industrial settings Ready to drive with Continental?
