**Logistics Supervisor:** Refers to professionals who manage teams and logistics processes—from receiving to delivery—aiming for efficiency and cost reduction, and who are involved in the planning, control, and execution of warehousing, transportation, and distribution, while complying with quality and safety standards.
This role requires team leadership, strategic and operational understanding of the supply chain (warehousing, transportation, distribution), strong analytical capability to optimize costs and processes, and communication skills to interface effectively with various departments and suppliers—always pursuing technological innovation and customer satisfaction, as well as solid knowledge of resource management and performance indicators.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Operational Management:** Plan, coordinate, and control material flow from receiving to final delivery, supervising warehouses, inventories, and transportation.
**Leadership and People Management:** Train, motivate, and manage teams, assign tasks, and resolve conflicts to ensure a productive environment focused on results.
**Optimization and Cost Control:** Analyze performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and implement solutions to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
**Resource Management:** Administer financial, material, and technological resources, authorize purchases, and pursue fleet and facility modernization.
**Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments (procurement, sales, production) and negotiate with suppliers to align logistics operations with company objectives.
**Safety and Quality:** Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental (SSMA), and quality standards.
**Essential Skills (Hard & Soft Skills):**
**Logistics Knowledge:** Proficiency in route planning, inventory management, and WMS (Warehouse Management System) platforms.
**Leadership and People Management:** Ability to inspire, develop, and lead teams.
**Analysis and Problem Solving:** Skill in interpreting data and devising efficient solutions to logistics challenges.
**Communication:** Clear and assertive, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.

**Education and Experience (Typical):**
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields.
Prior experience in operational and leadership roles within logistics.
Familiarity with logistics management and automation software.
