If you are proactive, possess strong teamwork skills, and want to make a difference in commerce and retail, don’t miss this opportunity — this position is for you! **Position Summary** The Forklift Operator is the professional responsible for handling and operating forklifts to move, transport, load, and unload materials in warehouses, distribution centers, factories, and other areas requiring goods organization. The primary objective is to ensure products are transported safely and stored efficiently, adhering to occupational safety standards and safeguarding goods integrity. **Responsibilities:** * Operate forklifts (electric retractable type) for cargo movement within the workplace. * Perform loading and unloading of goods, ensuring correct positioning for storage or transportation. * Maintain product organization and proper stacking according to safety specifications. * Inspect and perform basic preventive maintenance on the forklift, checking oil, water, fuel levels, and other safety items. * Complete goods movement reports, identifying products and updating inventory. * Ensure proper equipment operation and report any need for repair or maintenance. * Follow safety regulations and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). **Requirements:** * Valid Forklift Operator certification. * Completed high school education; * Basic knowledge of cargo handling and safety practices. * Prior experience as a forklift operator; * Skills in attention to detail, precision, and ability to work in a team.
