




Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for following cash-handling procedures, delivering exemplary customer service, and contributing to an organized and efficient store environment. Collaborating as a team with ethics and values aligned with Sephora. **JOB MISSION** Carry out all cash-handling procedures and related processes, and deliver customer service in accordance with Sephora procedures. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** **In-Store / Customer Service** * Adhere to all Sephora customer service policies and standards; * Greet and serve all customers enthusiastically and in accordance with Sephora service procedures; * Recognize and respect the work of others; * Contribute to a pleasant and organized work environment; * Complete transactions accurately and efficiently (including gift wrapping); * Handle returns/exchanges in a positive manner; * Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transaction completion; * Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed; * Encourage customers to participate in satisfaction surveys; * Act as a productive and motivated member of the store team; * Follow the LVMH Group Code of Ethics and Conduct. **Store Presentation** * Be aware of Sephora product presentation concepts at all times; * Maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the checkout area; * Assist in maintaining backstage standards: inventory, cabinets, kitchen, restrooms, etc. **Operations** * Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures; * Strive to ensure excellence in your area of responsibility; * Participate in supply control (packaging materials, bags, gifts, labels, etc.); * Complete all assigned store tasks quickly and accurately; * Contribute to maintaining store safety standards; * Communicate area needs to the Supervisor; * Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures; * Stay informed about special events and in-store merchandise promotions; * Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service or standards; * Perform daily cashier and operational duties: * Returns/exchanges; * Communicating supply replenishment needs; * Price adjustments\*; * Cash register opening procedures; * Cancellations\*; * Cash register closing procedures; * Employee transactions\*; * Properly packaging products; * Must be approved by the Store Manager or Supervisor. **Training** * Complete all My Sephora Learning trainings; * Seek additional training when necessary; * Assist in training new cashiers. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES** **Experience** * Prior cashier experience preferred; **Qualifications** **Required Knowledge and Skills** * Customer service, communication, and organization; * Logical reasoning; * Experience handling cash/register — preferred; * Basic computer skills — preferred. **Education Level** * High school diploma or equivalent. **Job Requirements** * Communicate verbally with customers and colleagues clearly; * Operate the point-of-sale system; * Demonstrate availability and flexibility; * Adhere to the dress code; * Deliver consistent and reliable service. **Competencies** * Teamwork; * Committed and proactive attitude; * Willingness to learn; * Professional ethics and values aligned with Sephora.
