**Technical Estimator** We are seeking a Public Works Estimator responsible for preparing, analyzing, and controlling technical and financial budgets for public works projects. The professional will be responsible for interpreting project documents, calculating costs, preparing budget spreadsheets, and supporting procurement processes in accordance with current legislation. **Main Responsibilities** \- Prepare detailed budget spreadsheets based on executive projects and descriptive memoranda; \- Conduct quantitative takeoffs of materials, equipment, and services; \- Calculate direct and indirect costs (inputs, statutory charges, BDI, taxes, freight, etc.); \- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for public tenders (Law No. 14\.133/2021\); \- Analyze tender notices and terms of reference for public competitions, price inquiries, and auctions; \- Update and maintain input and cost composition databases (SINAPI, EMOP, SCO, etc.); \- Support the engineering department in assessing the technical and financial feasibility of construction projects; \- Prepare reports comparing budgeted versus actual costs.
