In the Subsea Production Systems (SPS) segment, we provide highly advanced control and monitoring systems, supporting complex offshore operations. **Partner with the best!** ---------------------------------- As a Controls Technician (SCM), you will report directly to the Technical Support Leader and be based in Macaé, providing both onshore and offshore services for Baker Hughes-supplied subsea and topside electrical monitoring and control systems (SCM, IMUX, MCS). Your role will be critical in ensuring field operational reliability, safety, and quality. **As a Controls Technician (SCM), your responsibilities will include:** --------------------------------------------------------------- * Performing onshore and offshore services involving subsea and topside electrical monitoring and control systems (SCM, IMUX, MCS). * Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving problems and anomalies in Baker Hughes-supplied control and monitoring systems. * Supporting equipment receipt, disassembly, assembly, testing, and installation phases. * Providing technical leadership for operational activities, ensuring correct execution of services according to quality and safety standards. * Preparing technical reports documenting performed services. * Providing technical support for operational planning and scheduling activities. * Developing operational sequences and participating in technical meetings with customers. * Contributing to the development and revision of technical procedures as required by operational needs or leadership requests. * Ensuring compliance of all activities with Quality, Compliance, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements. * Proactively preventing unsafe conditions, operational deviations, and environmental risks. * Monitoring customer metrics and feedback, implementing actions to improve satisfaction levels. * Integrating and coordinating all stakeholders involved in service execution, ensuring delivery aligned with expected outcomes. **Empower your talents** --------------------------- To succeed in this role, you must: * Hold a completed technical diploma, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with official documentation validating professional practice. * Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical roles related to electrical, electronic, and/or control systems within the subsea equipment (SPS) domain. * Possess computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office suite. * Demonstrate intermediate to advanced English language skills (reading, writing, and oral communication). * Exhibit strong accountability, safety focus, and capability to operate effectively in critical operational environments. **Desired Qualifications** ----------------------------- * Minimum 5 years’ experience with SCM and/or MCS systems will be considered an advantage. **Work in a way that works for you** ------------------------------------------------ We recognize that individuals differ, and how professionals deliver their best work may vary.
