Conduct inspections within the post perimeter. Maintain a firm yet courteous demeanor toward customers and their staff. Provide any type of information and assistance requested by your immediate supervisor. Act in a visible manner to promote the safety of people, facilities, and materials, deterring and preventing actions harmful to the client’s interests—whether criminal or not—while complying with legal requirements. Carry out the directives and procedures established for your post. Prepare daily shift/post reports as stipulated by the company. Be responsible for safeguarding materials under your custody (firearms, documentation, and post equipment). Complete documents required for performing your duties (e.g., security logbook and time card).
