Participation in pharmacovigilance routines ###### **Macaé, RJ****The company accepts applications from candidates residing in Macaé and nearby cities** ###### **Internship** ###### **To be determined** ###### **Internship** **Job Details** -------------------- **Requirements:** --------------- * Education: Currently enrolled in a Pharmacy program **Responsibilities:** --------------- * Fractionate and unit-dose medications; * Assist in the compounding of injectable medications; * Count inventory of commonly used medications, high-cost medications, and high-alert medications; * Count controlled-substance medication cabinets; * Count vaccines stored in refrigerators; * Sort medications for fulfilling departmental requests; * Transport and handle vaccines correctly (using thermal boxes with three gel packs) to the Neonatal ICU and Nursery; * Perform the standard triple-check procedure for medications prior to dispensing; * Deliver medications dispensed by pharmacists to other hospital departments; * Assist pharmacists in verifying prescriptions against dispensed medications—ensuring correct medication, correct volume, and proper packaging; * Assist pharmacists in comparing old prescriptions with those issued on the current day; * Conduct monthly expiration date checks for medications and flag those nearing expiry; * Receive medications and complete the required documentation upon receipt; * Proactively identify Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) (pharmacovigilance) in Adult and Pediatric ICUs, Neonatal ICU, Semi-Intensive Unit, and Maternity Ward, under pharmacist supervision; * Verify, with pharmacist support, the transport kit and cardiac arrest cart, as well as the Neonatal ICU and Operating Room special-control medication kits; * Assist in restocking satellite dispensaries and inventories. **Additional Information:** ----------------------- * Work location: Macaé–RJ \- Work schedule: 150 hours (5x2\) \- 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM * Availability for training. **Requirements** -------------- ### **Minimum Education** Undergraduate degree (in progress) **Benefits** -------------- Partnership agreements with affiliated companies Transportation allowance Product discounts ### **About Rede D'Or** Founded in 1977 as “Cardiolab”, Rede D'Or currently operates 75 owned hospitals and 3 managed hospitals, along with 55 oncology clinics across the states of RJ, SP, MG, PE, BA, MA, SE, CE, AL, PB, PR, MS, PA, and DF.
