




Job Summary: A professional responsible for guiding patients, collecting and preparing biological specimens for automated testing and laboratory analyses. Key Highlights: 1. Patient guidance and collection of biological specimens for testing 2. Preparation of materials for laboratory techniques 3. Laboratory material inventory control Collect and prepare biological specimens to perform automated tests. Responsibilities: * Guide patients and/or their companions regarding examination routines and procedures to be performed * Position the client comfortably for the examination * Collect specimens for laboratory analyses (e.g., blood, secretions, etc.) * Prepare specimens for laboratory techniques, including centrifugation, slide preparation, serum and plasma separation, tube labeling, and blood collection under technical supervision * Manage and supply, upon technical request, laboratory consumables (e.g., tubes, reagents, glassware, "kits") required for laboratory techniques * Receive specimens delivered by nursing units for testing and process them accordingly Requirements: * Completed high school education * Experience in laboratory specimen collection * Completion of a Laboratory Assistant or Clinical Analysis Technician course (or related fields) * Availability to work rotating shifts (12x36): 07h-11h-12h-19h * Residency in Macaé.
