Offshore work with a focus on material logistics The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following Ocyan’s award of a strategic contract, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin. The project marks the expansion of both companies’ involvement in offshore EPCI projects (engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation of subsea equipment). Activities will be carried out on the Namorado (PNA-1) and Garoupa (PGP-1) platforms, focusing on the installation of manifolds, flexible pipes, and other high-complexity subsea equipment. The collaboration between Ocyan and Mota-Engil strengthens the Consortium’s expertise: on one side, Ocyan’s solid experience in the Brazilian oil and gas market; on the other, Mota-Engil’s recognized international presence, particularly in Europe and Africa. We are seeking two **Offshore Storekeepers** to join the OFFSHORE team for this project. Work regime: 14 days onboard / 14 days off **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage the flow of materials onboard vessels, ensuring receipt, inspection, detailed verification against purchase orders, storage, and material availability, guaranteeing physical and documentary compliance according to specifications and operational requirements; * Support material logistics between the vessel and the *onshore* base, ensuring delivery deadlines are met and compliance with project specifications, always strategically aligned with the Procurement team to ensure seamless transportation processes; * Monitor onboard inventory, including control and storage of chemicals, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly identified, labeled, stored, and accessible, using accurate and up-to-date control records and spreadsheets; * Monitor stock levels, focusing on preventing critical material shortages and managing consumables, replenishing before they become critical to ensure uninterrupted operations; * Organize the shipment of damaged or irreparable equipment onboard for repair, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and conditioning in accordance with technical specifications and operational requirements; * Control the storage and distribution of PPE, ensuring correct storage and timely delivery to crew members per current legislation and operational requirements; * Perform tasks in the current system, such as inventory control, purchase order processing, and stock material management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy; * Continuously report to the Material Logistics Coordination and onboard supervision regarding progress of material receipt, storage, transportation, and loading activities, highlighting any non-conformities, risks, and corrective actions implemented; * Record and share lessons learned and best practices related to *backload*, *load*, and material receipt activities, promoting continuous improvement within the team and organization; * Guide and support team development, facilitating technical knowledge transfer and dissemination of best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Technical training (preferred); * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; * Excellent communication skills with high technical proficiency; * Experience working in an *offshore* environment; * Advanced knowledge of ERP systems; The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following Ocyan’s award of a strategic contract, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin.
