Bring your talent and commitment—and join this team! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your main challenges as an** **IT Technician I** **are:** * Maintain the unit’s technology infrastructure—including hardware, software, computer networks, and telephony—in optimal working condition to ensure functional operation of equipment and systems, as well as user satisfaction. * Maintain the unit’s network infrastructure; continuously monitor internal communications to guarantee seamless operation of academic and administrative networks. * Monitor and identify issues in data and voice communication by tracking data and information flow, ensuring reliable internal and external communication for the unit. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the IT infrastructure through planned corrective maintenance and ad-hoc maintenance requests handled via the Shared Service Center. * Provide first-level technical support to users (on-site and remote). * Respond to and log IT service requests. * Support software and operating system installation and updates. * Perform basic backup routines and file organization. * Assist with IT equipment inventory control. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek a professional with:** * Completed high school (technical or undergraduate studies in IT preferred); * Basic knowledge of computing (hardware, software, and operating systems); * Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; * Fundamental understanding of computer networks; * Ability to quickly learn new technologies; * Strong communication and organizational skills; * Capacity to work effectively in teams; * Proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility; **Additional Information** Work Location: Estácio Macaé Campuses Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:48 PM to 10:00 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM We believe in the excellence of our education and therefore prioritize graduates from our institutions in our selection processes.
