Summary: This entry-level Assistant Technician role provides initial remote technical product support, troubleshoots basic issues, and escalates complex problems. Highlights: 1. Gain new titles and responsibilities through internal promotion system Assistant Technician Provide initial/tier one technical product support to customers remotely via inbound calls, email, live chat, video, etc., by handling inquiries and troubleshooting basic technical product\-related issues. Gather information to identify and assess the nature of the problem. Record incident in a tracking system to maintain log of product issues for escalation and product development teams. Typically refer to transcript or established process in training manuals and guides to recommend solutions. Escalate complex issues to higher\-level technical product support specialists or engineers. Requires general knowledge of organization's products and/or services, policies, terms, and conditions. Entry\-level support role. Performs routine technical / administrative tasks as directed and under close supervision. Typically requires little to no related experience.
