The Yard Supervisor is responsible for coordinating yard operational activities, ensuring site organization and safety. They supervise the team, control vehicle entry and exit, and maintain yard infrastructure. This professional strategically optimizes processes and ensures operational efficiency in the yard. * Supervise the yard staff team, assigning tasks and providing guidance on operational procedures. * Control vehicle entry and exit, ensuring proper yard organization and traffic flow. * Ensure the safety of parked vehicles, preventing damage and theft. * Conduct periodic inspections of yard infrastructure, identifying maintenance and repair needs. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable legislation regarding vehicle storage and movement. * Prepare vehicle entry/exit control reports as well as incident reports from the yard. * Participate in alignment meetings with the team and managers, contributing ideas for continuous improvement. * Monitor inventory of materials used in the yard, requesting replenishment when necessary. * Maintain contact with suppliers and service providers to ensure adequate supply of inputs. * Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes and reduce yard costs.
