Opportunity to shape the role and advance your career The Tubarão plant specializes in manufacturing aluminum profiles for the construction market and also houses an anodizing unit for surface finishing of aluminum profiles — it is also where Hydro’s general toolroom is located. You will be part of a future-oriented business by joining us on a transformative journey. **Your Responsibilities** ------------------- * Perform cleaning, blasting, polishing, nitriding load assembly, tool assembly/disassembly, and repairs of accessories as needed. * Operate machine tools. * Update tool data in the DATASUL and/or CCF systems when required. * Execute predefined general corrections assigned by Toolmaker II and III. E.g., polishing, milling, welding, grinding, etc. * Ensure confidentiality of Hydro’s tools. * Identify and report issues related to tools when necessary. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, as well as maintain workplace organization and cleanliness. * Operate overhead cranes and/or hoists. * Operate pallet jacks, stackers, forklifts, or tow carts depending on the unit. * Conduct periodic inspections of tool accessories. E.g., BAT, BO, DM, PM, and DL. * Package tools. **What Will Make You Successful?** -------------------------------- **Education** * High school diploma required * Industrial training (SENAI), technical degree in Machining, Mechanical Engineering and Fitting, or related fields preferred **Knowledge and Skills** * Proficiency in measuring instruments (calipers, protractors, feeler gauges, flatness rulers, etc.) required * Knowledge of and ability to interpret technical drawings required * Industrial sector experience required * Welding and milling knowledge preferred * Availability to work rotating shifts required * Professional profile with strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and reliability Hydro values diverse skills and perspectives among its employees.
