Team leadership and development of optimization projects **Pikolin Mattresses** is looking for a talented and motivated **Maintenance Coordinator** to join our team in **Guaramirim**. This role is responsible for ensuring the full functionality of equipment, machinery, and facilities at our factory, thereby securing uninterrupted production, product quality, and the safety of all our employees. The coordinator acts as a strategic liaison among operations, engineering, and management, promoting efficiency and cost reduction. This is a full-time, on-site position. **Responsibilities:*** Supervise and manage the maintenance team (technicians and mechanics), assigning tasks and monitoring performance. * Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate emergency repairs (corrective maintenance). * Monitor and control performance indicators (KPIs), such as MTBF, MTTR, machine availability, and maintenance costs. * Manage inventory of critical spare parts and supplies, and conduct supplier negotiations. * Ensure compliance of all activities with safety standards and environmental regulations. * Align scheduled shutdowns with the production department to minimize operational impact. * Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance energy efficiency and optimize processes. * Train and develop the team on new technologies and best maintenance practices. **Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience** in industrial maintenance, preferably within the consumer goods or manufacturing sector. * Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as cutting, gluing, and pressing machines. * Solid knowledge of NR-10, NR-12, and NR-35 regulations. * Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology. * Inspirational leadership, strategic planning, decision-making ability, and clear/assertive communication. * Proactivity in anticipating issues, resilience under pressure, and unwavering focus on results and cost reduction.
