Quality Inspector

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for quality inspection of finished and in-process products, ensuring reliability for the end customer and supporting continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Conduct quality inspections and address non-conformities. 2. Propose and execute tests for continuous improvement of products and processes. 3. Deliver technical training and conduct industry benchmarking. Responsible for quality inspection of products marketed by CS3, including finished materials and those undergoing processing—both internally and at third-party facilities—as well as synthetic coatings, aiming to ensure reliability of products delivered to the end customer. * Perform quality inspections on finished materials and in production processes, both internal and at third-party facilities, ensuring compliance with established standards. * Identify, record, and address non-conformities, engaging responsible parties for necessary corrections and monitoring implemented actions. * Perform dimensional measurements using control instruments such as calipers, ensuring assessment accuracy. * Ensure product quality prior to release to the customer, focusing on reliability and adherence to technical specifications. * Inspect and validate quality parameters of natural slabs, improving accuracy in material classification. * Propose, execute, and monitor tests for new products, processes, and continuous improvements. * Evaluate non-conforming materials, directing them for reprocessing and monitoring activities until final product conformity is assured. * Support incident resolution by analyzing root causes and proposing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence. * Contribute to the development, review, and standardization of documents, procedures, and work instructions, as well as support internal training. * Deliver technical training and presentations to stonemasons, architects, and cladding specifiers, promoting best practices for product use. * Conduct benchmarking with companies within the industry and other sectors to improve production processes and enhance product quality. * Maintain sector organization, cleanliness, and well-being, ensuring a safe and appropriate working environment. * Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, reporting any deviations to the immediate supervisor and halting activities presenting risks to physical integrity. * Continuously contribute improvement suggestions aimed at strengthening the quality management system.
