Use of different types of resins and application techniques **Job Summary** Responsible for applying resin onto surfaces, parts, or structures to ensure finishing, waterproofing, bonding, or protection. Works in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety standards, following specific technical instructions for each type of resin and material. **Requirements** * + Prior experience in processes involving resin application on wood, floors, fibers, molds, or industrial parts. + Types of resins and their applications (epoxy, polyester, phenolic, etc.). + Basic knowledge of chemical component ratios and mixing. + Application and finishing techniques. + Ability to read product technical instructions. + Chemical safety regulations (use of PPE and safe handling of resins). + Completed elementary education + + Training in resin application or composite materials (preferred) **Main Responsibilities** * + Prepare and apply resins (epoxy, polyester, phenolic, melamine, or others) onto parts, sheets, or surfaces according to process guidelines. + Accurately measure, weigh, and mix resin components (base and catalyst, when required). + Use appropriate tools and equipment (roller, brush, spray gun, spatula, etc.). + Prepare surfaces prior to application (cleaning, sanding, drying). + Monitor curing time, temperature, and ideal application conditions. + Perform minor repairs on areas with resin defects. + Record production output, material usage, and process incidents. + Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization, including used materials. + Comply with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and chemical handling procedures.
