And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond! **Position Summary** The Sanitation Coordinator is responsible for supervising and ensuring the cleaning and sanitation of food production facilities, including production areas, equipment, and adjacent environments. This professional ensures compliance with food safety standards and regulations, prevents contamination risks, and promotes a safe, hygienic, and productive environment. **Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and supervise sanitation programs and cleaning schedules. * Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and other regulatory guidelines. * Lead and train the sanitation team, including supervision, shift scheduling, and performance evaluation. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA). * Support internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications. * Conduct regular inspections and verification tests (ATP, visual inspections). * Collaborate with quality teams to implement corrective actions. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. * Research and recommend new sanitation technologies and methods. * Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals. * Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals. * Promote safety culture, correct use of PPE, and safe practices. * Ensure sanitation activities do not interfere with production process safety. **About You** * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry within a production or continuous improvement environment. * Proven knowledge of sanitation protocols and methods. * Experience in auditing (GFSI or equivalent). * Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Advanced English (spoken and written). * Experience in dynamic and complex environments, with multitasking capability. * Excellent communication and influence skills across organizational levels. * Leadership competencies: strategic thinking, cultural change management, focus on sustainable results.
