About the job We are seeking a Laboratory Technician I to work onsite at our EDP factory in Poços de Caldas/MG. This role plays a fundamental part in ensuring food quality and safety through the execution of laboratory analyses on milk and its co-products, guaranteeing compliance with internal standards, legal requirements, and corporate policies regarding Quality, Food Safety, Safety, and Environment. * Perform physical-chemical and microbiological laboratory analyses on milk and its co-products, ensuring result accuracy, reliability, and traceability. * Support appropriate raw material release, contributing to uninterrupted production and operational excellence. * Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, legal requirements—including MAPA regulations—and applicable corporate policies. * Prepare, standardize, and control reagents used in laboratory analyses. * Perform calibration, verification, and monitoring of analytical equipment, ensuring proper operation. * Record information, results, and evidence clearly, reliably, and in accordance with established procedures. * Maintain laboratory data integrity, supporting analysis, decision-making, and deviation handling when necessary. * Strictly adhere to Good Laboratory Practices, internal procedures, and standards for Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environment. * Collaborate effectively with Quality, Production, and other factory departments. About you * Technical or undergraduate degree (in progress or completed) in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy, or related fields. * Knowledge of physical-chemical and/or microbiological laboratory analyses. * Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices. * Basic understanding of reagent preparation and standardization. * Knowledge of calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of analytical equipment. * Familiarity with regulatory standards—especially MAPA—is considered an advantage. * Availability to work in a laboratory routine and industrial environment.
