Job Summary: The professional will conduct detailed inspections, diagnostics, reporting, and client communication regarding used vehicles, as well as collaborate with the sales team and stay current on the automotive market. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the automotive market. **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a 1 hour and 30 minute lunch break; Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT * Conduct detailed inspections on used vehicles to determine their overall condition, including checking mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic components. * Use specialized tools and equipment to assess vehicle condition, such as diagnostic scanners, paint thickness gauges, and automotive lifts. * Record all relevant information regarding vehicle condition in detailed reports, including photographs and descriptions of any identified damages or issues. * Communicate\-with customers to explain evaluation results, answer questions, and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance. * Collaborate with the sales team to determine the market value of evaluated vehicles, taking into account factors such as mileage, age, maintenance history, and overall condition. * Stay up-to-date on automotive market trends, including used vehicle pricing, emerging technologies, and best practices in vehicle appraisal. * Ensure all appraisals are conducted in accordance with dealership and automotive industry standards and regulations. * Assist in preparing vehicles for sale, including coordinating necessary repairs and conducting final inspections prior to customer delivery. * Maintain an organized and safe workplace, adhering to safety practices and equipment maintenance procedures. **Requirements:** * In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics and operation. * Ability to identify issues and perform accurate diagnostics. * Capability to conduct road tests and detailed inspections. * Knowledge of market values and used vehicle pricing trends. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Proficiency in vehicle appraisal tools and software. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. * Additional certifications in vehicle appraisal will be considered a plus. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience at automotive dealerships. * Knowledge of advanced diagnostic and repair techniques. * Ability to use digital vehicle appraisal tools. * Participation in automotive specialization courses. * Ability to negotiate and finalize vehicle purchase and sale agreements. * Experience with various vehicle brands and models. * Knowledge of automotive legislation and regulations. **Benefits:** Disclosed during the interview
