Main Responsibilities** **Building Maintenance and Infrastructure:** * **Minor Repairs:** Perform basic repairs in masonry, painting, flooring, and roofing. * **Electrical and Plumbing Installations:** Carry out simple repairs such as replacing light bulbs, outlets, faucets, flush mechanisms, and unclogging drains. * **Furniture Management:** Assemble, repair, and organize desks, chairs, cabinets, and classroom boards. * **Logistical Support:** Assist in organizing school events (stage setup, chair arrangement, sound system installation). * **Material Management:** Organize tool and supply inventory, requesting replenishment when necessary. **Cleaning, Conservation, and Custodial Duties:** * **External Area Cleaning:** Sweep and clean courtyards, sidewalks, and communal spaces. * **Waste Management:** Empty and sanitize indoor and outdoor trash bins, ensuring proper selective collection and disposal. * **Basic Gardening:** Perform routine maintenance of gardens and green areas (bed cleaning, leaf and debris removal). * **General Conservation:** Ensure cleanliness and order in common areas (hallways, restrooms, classrooms, and courtyards), maintaining a hygienic environment. **3\. Conduct Protocols in the Educational Environment** *Given the nature of the school environment, the employee must strictly adhere to these guidelines:* * **Material Safety:** Tools, cleaning supplies, and maintenance chemicals must be securely stored and kept out of students’ reach. * **Hazard Signage:** Any area undergoing maintenance or cleaning (e.g., wet floors, ongoing repairs) must be cordoned off or marked with warning signs to prevent accidents. * **Discretion and Professional Demeanor:** Work must be carried out with maximum discretion during class hours, avoiding excessive noise or disruptions to teaching activities. * **Risk Prevention:** Immediate reporting to management is mandatory for any hazards (exposed wiring, broken glass, sharp objects) that threaten the physical safety of the school community. **4\.
