**Responsibilities and Duties**

Plan and contribute to the selection and recruitment process;
Contribute to defining parameters for reporting matrices, inventory turnover, MRP replenishment, stock coverage, obsolescence, active items, accuracy, among others;
Manage inventory costs with a focus on intelligent inventory reduction;
Act as a communication link between personnel and departments in operational incidents related to the warehouse and SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment);
Act as an educator and communicator of the prevention culture focused on SSMA;
Supervise inventory preparation, aiming to reconcile discrepancies with accounting records and ensure compliance of inventory items;
Supervise planning and organization of materials, their storage arrangement, facilitating identification, location, and handling by line and by product;
Supervise the quality of purchased materials;
Interact daily with departments to obtain necessary data for executing warehouse activities and ensuring company procedures and policies;
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of external and internal equipment and facilities of the warehouse building;
Inspect and certify working conditions and equipment, ensuring the physical integrity of employees and materials in motion;
Supervise material returns, guiding on required procedures;
Supervise and monitor expiration dates of stored items;
Maintain integrity of material handling/storage equipment, following inspection, operation, and maintenance checklists;
Identify needs to enhance and modernize equipment, facilities, and procedures to improve performance and productivity;
Conduct and/or support daily safety dialogues with the team;
Supervise and maintain contact with carriers and suppliers regarding material deliveries and returns;
Present and track improvements in team performance regarding problem/divergence resolution, updating the visual management board;
Support control of departmental general expenses (consumables, telecommunications, IT supplies, fuel, etc.) to contribute to cost reduction;
Guide the warehouse team on technical aspects of products and handling/storage procedures to preserve product integrity, characteristics, and usability;
Examine quality of purchased products, informing the procurement department of any deviations from established specifications;
Monitor and assist in the inventory process, performing physical verification of materials, tools, machines, and equipment;
Identify needs to enhance and modernize warehouse equipment and facilities to improve performance and productivity;
Technically train the team through ongoing training, guidance, and supervision, as well as developing potential successors;
Gather data for budgeting action plans and projects of the area together with responsible personnel from client departments, contributing to achieving objectives set forth in the company’s strategic plan;
Manage the annual action plan and continuously identify area needs, analyzing indicators, results of applied tools, company culture, and suggestions, to develop coherent strategies aligned with company needs;
Ensure proper use of tools and instruments, maintaining and storing them in appropriate locations;
Perform job duties in full compliance with all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards and procedures, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job and department activities. Responsible for immediately reporting to the direct supervisor any activity posing a risk to one’s own health or that of fellow workers;
Carry out activities in alignment with company values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information;
Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through maintaining organization, standardization, and cleanliness of the workplace via internal and external sector audits;
Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility, promptly reporting any issues or damages detected to the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree;
Professional experience preferred;
