Job Summary: Assist the butcher in all stages of product preparation, cutting, packaging, and organization, as well as maintaining department hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. Direct assistance in the preparation and packaging of butcher products 2. Maintenance of hygiene and organization in the meat department 3. Customer service during product preparation and delivery Job Description: * Assist the butcher in preparing (cutting, sorting, etc.) products and packaging them according to departmental manual instructions; * Assist the butcher in preparing, cutting, and delivering customer-requested products (slicing, portioning, grinding, and weighing), packaged and labeled according to product code; * Label products according to internal codes for sales area and company requirements; * Verify that products are correctly labeled (price, origin, manufacturing date, expiration date, label placement); * Assemble, seal, and label meat trays for display and cold storage chambers; * Sterilize equipment and tools used for meat handling before and after each use; * Separate products for restaurant and kitchen use upon request; * Perform pricing and price re-tagging according to department leadership instructions; \- Restock merchandise on counters and refrigerated and frozen islands whenever items are sold; \- Remove deteriorated or unsightly merchandise daily, verifying expiration dates of displayed products; * Clean equipment, facilities, and utensils whenever necessary; * Load and unload products onto trucks using hydraulic equipment and store products in appropriate locations; * Assist the butcher in checking received goods and inventory upon request; * Store chilled and frozen products in respective chambers; * Prepare product display areas in sales zones according to departmental manual instructions.
