Senior Internal Auditor

Job Summary: Lead the planning and execution of internal audits, evaluating controls and reporting improvements, while maintaining relationships with senior management and governance bodies. Key Highlights: 1. Full technical leadership in internal audit 2. Focus on risk analysis, control testing, and process evaluation 3. Direct interaction with senior management and the Audit Committee Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of the annual internal audit plan, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation. Perform complete audit cycles in accordance with established standards, covering risk analysis, control testing, and evaluation of operational, financial, compliance, and IT processes. Assess the effectiveness and adherence of existing internal controls, reporting deficiencies, risks, and recommending improvements. Monitor implementation of recommendations from prior audits, validating resolution of non-conformities. Provide technical support and guidance to audited areas without performing executive functions. Maintain direct relationships with senior management, the Audit Committee, and other governance bodies, ensuring independence and objectivity. Prepare and present audit reports with conclusions and recommendations, and conduct follow-up to assess adherence to corrective actions. Stay updated on regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/BR GAAP), internal auditing standards (NBC TI-01, NBC TA, IPPF), corporate governance, and industry best practices. Train and guide new team members. Exercise technical leadership of the department. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences or related field Experience in Accounting, Financial, and Tax Auditing within large-scale manufacturing industries. Experience with SAP system. Experience in technical leadership of the audit function.
